Dry Preservation

Dry Preservation

Dry preserving is a great way to preserve wings, feet, and other smaller specimens so that they retain a lot of the characteristics they would have in life – fully in-tact fur, feathers, scales, etc. Dry preserved specimens are hard when finished and cannot be reshaped, so care must be taken when selecting a position. Cared for properly (mainly out of the elements and kept dry), dry preserved items can last a lifetime.
